  1.                  Introduction to PC-Write by Quicksoft

  3. Welcome to PC-Write!  This screen tells how to get started.  First make
  4. a backup copy of this diskette.  If you are familiar with software, type
  5. QUICKS.ME for quickstart information.  If not, read our Tutorial first.
  6. The PC-Write Tutorial and Quick Guide, and the Help screens, should help
  7. you do simple editing and get a feel for PC-Write.  You will probably need
  8. to register, or at least get a full manual, to use PC-Write effectively.

  10. To make a backup copy of this diskette, put it in drive A and an empty,
  11. formatted diskette in drive B.  Enter the command:
  12.   A>COPY *.* B:
  13. Use this copy as your PC-Write diskette.  Save the original.
  14.  
  15. To get the Tutorial and Quick Guide, enter one of the following:
  16.   A>PRINTMAN                           (prints copy;  best at 12 chars/inch)
  17.   A>TYPEMAN                            (types on screen, with pause to read)
  18.   A>FILEMAN  MANUAL1.CRN  B:PART1.DOC  (un-compresses manual;  do for all 3)
  19. The Tutorial has 15 pages, the Quick Guide 37.  To print or type starting
  20. at any page, enter the number of pages to skip after the command:
  21.   A>PRINTMAN 8                         (skips first 8 pages)
