- Introduction to PC-Write by Quicksoft

- Welcome to PC-Write! This screen tells how to get started. First make
- a backup copy of this diskette. If you are familiar with software, type
- QUICKS.ME for quickstart information. If not, read our Tutorial first.
- The PC-Write Tutorial and Quick Guide, and the Help screens, should help
- you do simple editing and get a feel for PC-Write. You will probably need
- to register, or at least get a full manual, to use PC-Write effectively.

- To make a backup copy of this diskette, put it in drive A and an empty,
- formatted diskette in drive B. Enter the command:
- A>COPY *.* B:
- Use this copy as your PC-Write diskette. Save the original.

- To get the Tutorial and Quick Guide, enter one of the following:
- A>PRINTMAN (prints copy; best at 12 chars/inch)
- A>TYPEMAN (types on screen, with pause to read)
- A>FILEMAN MANUAL1.CRN B:PART1.DOC (un-compresses manual; do for all 3)
- The Tutorial has 15 pages, the Quick Guide 37. To print or type starting
- at any page, enter the number of pages to skip after the command:
- A>PRINTMAN 8 (skips first 8 pages)
- Users of PC-Write before version 2.6, call for a copy of our "Upgrade Notes".
